Climate Change and Well-being

S20 South Africa 25-27 February 2025

About the Theme

The theme for Science 20 (S20) South Africa, “Climate Change and Well-being”, explores the intricate and interconnected relationships between climate change and human, environmental, and societal well-being. The S20 South Africa Inception Meeting will be taking place on 25 to 27 February 2025, at The Capital Menlyn Maine Hotel, Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa.

As the world grapples with escalating climate challenges, understanding the profound impact of climate change on the health and prosperity of people, ecosystems, and economies has never been more critical. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, scientific innovation, and policy engagement, the S20 will foster evidence-based discussions to drive actionable solutions that enhance resilience, equity, and sustainability on a global scale.
