Mr Nishida Iwao joined the Cabinet Office, Science Council of Japan Secretariat, Division for International Affairs as Deputy Director in 2024 after leaving a 39-year career with a global company. His business career was mainly related to Marketing Operation in Japan and Regional activities. He earned an MBA from University of St. Thomas in US. Since September 2024, he has provided support for several meetings, such as Science and Technology in Society Forum in Kyoto Japan, Science Academies of Asia Forum in Korea, Science Council of Asia Conference in Bangladesh.
